Heat released from splitting uranium atoms is used to convert water into steam that turns turbines.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Renewable Resources<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A renewable resource is fairly easy to replace. Renewable energy resources include wood, wind, sunshine, geothermal energy, biomass, and water stored behind dams in lakes and <span class=\"fusion-popover popover-22\" data-animation=\"1\" data-class=\"popover-22\" data-container=\"popover-22\" data-content=\"Natural or artificial ponds or lakes used for the storage of water.\" data-delay=\"50\" data-placement=\"top\" data-title=\"Reservoirs\" data-toggle=\"popover\" data-trigger=\"hover\"><strong>reservoirs<\/strong><\/span>.
